Day 3 (Thursday, May 23rd) Taking the train to Frederiksborg Castle and back ... a walk in the park. |

Harrah! Hans woke fever-free, a little weak, but well. He commented that fever dreams were not supposed to be part of this adventure. |

This morning we took the train to Hillerod to tour King Christian IV's Frederiksborg "dream" Castle. Very impressive Danish history lesson from the 1500's to today. | |
|
After the tour we were on our own for the rest of the day. While waiting for the train back to Copenhagen, John and Hans got a little quiet time in ... napping? meditating? dreaming? |

This afternoon some of us explored the Christiania area. No photography was allowed but just outside Christiana was this painted house and Our Saviour's (von Frelser) Church with its unique outside spiral staircase. |
