Day 13 (Sunday, June
2nd) continued ... beyond Frogner Park and more hotel adventure. |
| The next
stop was the Holmenkollen Ski Jump, site of many Olympic dreams.
Although, from the top looking down, it was more an inspiration for scary
dreams for us. |

After lunch in a surprisingly warm outdoors
at the Frognerseteren Hovedrestaurant (great view) we toured the Norwegian
WWII Resistance Museum where dreams of freedom are in every display (too
dark for pictures.)
The next stop was the hotel that overbooked us yesterday but promised room
today. Guess what? The rooms were available, but because it was
Sunday the cleaning staff left
without cleaning all of them. Some of us were high and dry! Disaster? No
way! Adventure! Magic Moment! |

While we sipped on wine and juice,
munched on nibbles, and sang songs to Mac's harmonica, our dauntless guides
hustled out and found great, nearby rooms for the rest of us.
Way to go Sonja and Lisa!!
